Camp 252 provides local students and families of NYC/Long Island with a safe academic and recreational environment. Our summer sessions are cultivated by caring instructors who are deeply committed to their students’ academic growth, spiritual maturity, social skill development and leadership training.
What We Do
Our focus is to utilize the summer seasons so that students in NYC/Long Island will have the chance to grow intellectually, to engage in recreation, to deepen their relationship with God, and to mature in social skill development (Luke 2:52).
Camp 252 is based on a mentorship model that focuses on leadership training. Many of our students have enrolled in the camp for multiple years, leading to their interest in serving as future instructors. Several graduates have continued on to our high school leadership program and now work on staff with us.
Camp 252 is a 6-week summer program for students entering Grades 1-8. During our morning sessions, we focus on academics to prepare for the Fall semester. In the afternoon, we emphasize team building, recreational sports and the performing arts. Each week will feature an educational field trip in the NYC & Long Island areas.
